Hypnotic Healing Is All In The Mind

Hypnotic Healing Is All In The Mind.

For hundreds of years hypnosis has been used a medical aid and for pain relieve. Although it suffered a loss of credibility with the dawning of the scientific age it is science that is now once again reviving it!

Even though conventional medical thinking relegated hypnosis to nothing more than a stage act it is now considered a unique and fast solution for many medical problems by the medical profession today. In the United Kingdom hypnosis is available on the NHS. In America research has shown that hypnosis is very effective for quitting smoking and in France hypnotherapists, under laboratory conditions, found that they could lower a patient's blood pressure!

Over the years hypnosis has been portrayed, in the media, films and television, as an evil tool used for evil ends. Films especially tend to show hypnosis in a bad light with hypnotists having evil or selfish motives for using it. Hollywood has even made many people believe that hypnosis can be used to brain-wash unsuspecting victims into committing crimes and even murder! Hypnosis cannot be used in any of these ways and a person can never be forced to go against their morals or values through the use of hypnosis!

That being said, hypnosis is an extremely powerful tool for inner change. Providing a person gives their full consent to the process and desire change then almost any internal change can be made!

No one knows how hypnosis works. How it has the ability to have such profound effects on the mind and body remains elusive to researchers. However, its effectives are obvious!

A hypnotic state is one of relaxed concentration where the body and mind are at ease but the focus is heightened.

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that we all enter into throughout the day. When you listen to a piece of music that captures your full attention, or you read an enjoyable book that engages your imagination you are experiencing a form of self hypnosis! The same is true when you are watching television.

While under the influence of hypnosis there are very real and measurable brainwave changes with corresponded changes in the body. A hypnotic state will change our everyday brainwaves form Beta to Alpha. Alpha is a state of relaxed focused attention and it during this state that impressions, suggestions or commands can be passed directly to the subconscious part of the mind. The hypnosis Alpha state also gives access to the subconscious mind and its vast storehouse of information. This makes hypnosis an excellent tool for psychological change and healing.

Because it is the subconscious part of our mind that regulates the body it has been found that hypnosis can be used on some physical ailments as a means for speeding the recovery process also.

Researchers at Harvard Medical School found that they could reduce inflammation, pain and scarring using hypnosis. In addition trials showed that when hypnosis was used on patients with broken bones their healing times were reduced by three weeks compared to patients you used just conventional methods!

The more conventional medical uses of Hypnosis are psychological. The ability to access stored memories and emotions in the subconscious mind make it an ideal tool for the treatment of psychological disorders. It was in the late 50's when the American Psychiatric Association approved its use for therapy and although not all followed their example immediately it is well established now.

Not only can hypnosis be used for physical healing but it is also successfully employed as an aid for psychological healing. Disorders that stem from stress, depression and even phobias have been treated with great success using hypnosis. In addition it has become very popular with those people interested in personal development.

Research continues on a daily basis into the uses of and effectiveness of Hypnosis so who can tell what other benefits may be uncovered.

Secrets of the Sedona Method

How did a terminally ill man discover the secret to lasting health, abundant wealth and total happiness? How did the Sedona Method come into being and what can it really do?

How The Sedona Method Was Created:

It was before the Sedona Method had been created when the physicist, Lester Levenson, returned to his New York home to die, in 1952. He had been given the news that he only had a short while to live after his latest heart attack. Lester was told not to take a step unless it was completely necessary and to get loafers because tying his shoe laces would probably kill him. He was angry, hurt and full of fear as he prepared for his death. Luckily for us this was the best thing that could have happened as it was responsible for the discovery of the Sedona Method!

After three days of sitting in his Manhattan penthouse, feeling like a powerless victim just waiting to die, Lester Levenson got angry! There and then he decided to end it all. He knew he had enough morphine to do the job and using it would mean he wouldn't suffer. As this thought passed through Lester's consciousness he felt empowered by the realization that he had a choice. He decided that while he was still breathing there was a chance and after all he could always take the pills if he didn't find what he was looking for. So began Lester Levenson's three month quest for the answers to life, happiness and the nature of reality and the creation of the Sedona Method.

The answers he found are nothing short of amazing and the Sedona Method he created is nothing short of miraculous!

Within the first 4 weeks Lester reviewed everything he knew. He searched books and his own knowledge but realised the answers were not there. SO, he went back to the lab within! Soon he was to make amazing discoveries and create the Sedona Method as a result!

As Lester Levenson got closer to discovering the Sedona Method he started to look back over his life and ask the age old questions, "What am I? What is this world and what is my relationship to it?" He soon discovered that what everyone wants from life is happiness. Throughout his entire life he was seeking happiness through, money, success, achievement, and women and never did he find it.

He began form a basis for the Sedona Method when he looked over his life and was drawn to a past relationship with a woman whom he had loved. She had left him for another man and Lester still felt the pain of this rejection. This is when the foundation of the Sedona Method was built as Lester realised that love was the key to happiness. He discovered that when he wanted to feel loved by another he was unhappy but when he loved another, regardless of what they were doing, he felt happy. This was the first great shift and the forerunner of the Sedona Method!

Then Lester Levenson realized that all his bodily pain, even the heart attacks, where a direct result of his trying to control the past. This is another key principle that he embedded in the Sedona Method. He felt bitter and angry that his past love Nettie had left him for another man and suddenly he realized that his ulcers had started the very day she informed him of her choice. He would later remove these ulcers with the Sedona Method.

He also realized that he had been trying to change this decision for over 20 years and this had caused him immense pain and bodily hurt. He found that by being loving towards things that had happened in his past he could release their hold on him. Because the Sedona Method had not been totally formulated yet he found some things were easier to shift than others.

Lester Levenson continued his inner journey and formulation of the Sedona Method. With his early elementary Sedona Method techniques he began to ask the question "What is my mind?" To his astonishment he began to realize that his mind and his world were one and the same. He realized that mind is the controlling force behind matter. When he viewed his past failures he discovered that he had not been the victim, as he had once believed, but that everything had started as a thought in his own consciousness. He found this realization liberating and began to formulate a way to control it - the Sedona Method. He sat for hours holding his head in his hands trying to stop himself fro, thinking because he saw just how much negativity was there. He knew there had to be a way to control this and began to form a technique known today as the Sedona Method.

Lester was soon using the Sedona Method to remove all this negativity and finally he uncovered his deepest fear - the fear of dying. He had learned through the Sedona Method that all thoughts are feeling-based and knew that the fear of death was just like the rest - only a feeling. So, he used the Sedona Method to release it!

He continued to use the Sedona Method until he had removed all the negativity from his mind and felt indescribable joy. As he kept releasing using the method, he understood that this joy had no end or limit. He therefore asked himself what was beyond the joy and after using the Sedona Method to release his resistance to experiencing it he entered a state of unshakeable peace that lasted until he left this planet at the age of 84.

Lester had gone from a dying man to a fully realised master within 3 months. He said that his awakening really took place in the last month after he created the Sedona Method because he had not known what he was doing before then. Within that period his body was totally healed and within six months he had become a millionaire using none of his own money and only the Sedona Method techniques.

Lester Levenson dedicated the remainder of his life, from his Realization, to his death, teaching people his Sedona Method techniques for releasing the past and gaining complete control over our physical manifestation - our minds, bodies and lives. Through the Sedona Method and The Abundance Course his teachings are disseminated throughout the world. The Sedona Method is still as powerful today as it was in 1952. A few friends of Lester have condensed the Sedona Method teachings into easy to follow instructions. Some have even expanded the Sedona Method with new approaches.

The Sedona Method is probably the most powerful goal-achievement tool on the planet. It can be used to have, be or do anything you want. However, the Sedona Method is also the fastest easiest way to self improvement ever invented!
